Stage Fright X Speech X Overcome

Certainly, everyone in this world have some problem with "Stage Fright". One of many example is Myself. I'm Myself is an Acute Stage Fright. Every time I stand in front of people to do something, I always have my heart throbbing harshly. My mouth is started to tremble like crazy every time I tried to speak, and sometimes I can't even look at the audience. Why is that? I don't have to guest, cause' I already know it a long time ago. I don't have much confidence. I don't have confidence in my ability, and I usually give up before trying. I don't have confidence in my appearance, every time someone wanna took a picture of me I'm always running away (except a Group Picture). Quite a pathetic man... but, deep in my heart I wanna be like other people that can confidently speak in front like its nothing. How??

This is some trick to overcome Stage Fright...
  1. You have to know that Stage Fright is Natural. Everyone has experience it. It's not like you are the only person that have Stage Fright. So don't feel down and have more confidence in yourself !!
  2. If you think about it a little, you will see that there's nothing to lose even if you fail there. Usually, people who speech will thought the most negative thinking about their audience thought like "everyone will mock me because I looked like a pathetic men/women here".  IMHO, I think the Audience won't do that, at least if I'm the audience I wont do that cause I know they already tried their best. I know how it feels to talk in front, so if I mock them it feels as if I'm mocking myself cause I'm a very greatly super duper ultimately suck at speaking in front, and like I said before everyone in this world have some problems with Stage Fright. The difference just there are some people that overcome it sooner and there are some that overcome it later. (I'm the one that overcome it later Actually not yet. It sure is better than nothing right?!)
  3. Calm yourself before you do the speech. How? This is some trick that I get from my senior in University..First, take a very deep breath (don't over do it or you'll die pathetically) and then exhale. Second is do some facial gymnastic. "Make it as elastic as possible!!" she said. Well, I think it works huh...hahaha (I haven't even tried it..)
  4. Speak loudly till you can't hear anything else except your voice, and of course don't shout. Why do we have to speak loudly?? Cause' if you hear the audience talking when you speak in front (basically you know they don't listen to your speech), your spirit will fell sharply. So, speak louder cause' it helps to maintain your confidence and it also builds up your confidence, the audience too would feel your spirit when you're talking in front like that. You can say that it's like killing 3 eagle with 1 bullet (I use word "eagle" cause it's something quite big to overcome and I don't use "stone" cause' "like hell a stone would kill 3 eagle, it won't even kill 1...ckckck")
  5. Prepare your material and master it with the best you can do. With that, you'll have all the confidence you need. "Remember, practice makes perfect!!" said one of my senior.
  • Choose the topic with 3 principle (You can apply this if the topics is yours to choose,, but if the topic is fixed...like hell with it. Just read it...)
    • The topics is something that you know. Of course you have to know your topic,, how the audience understand it if the speaker itself don't know what he/ she's talking about.
    • The topics is something that you like/ love. Maybe you want to talk about Ice Cream cause' you like Ice Cream. Well, I actually use it (The Ice Cream Topic) cause' the speech I usually do is some task from school or University and not something official. Like hell I would speech about something like "Global Warming" cause' personally I think "As if I really care about it,,like hell with it,just die you Global Warming!!!" and really, I heard Global Warming this, Global Warming that and it feels like I've heard about it a thousand times now and the Global Warming don't even budge...(Sorry for you Nature Lovers,,no offense..^_^)
    • The topics is something that the audience care about. Like I said in the second principle, Global Warming. If I am an audience and the topic of the speech is "Global Warming", I won't even try to hear it. Cause' what?? Even till' the Hell froze, I won't care a tiny bit about Global Warming. I'm not a Nature Lovers you know. When your audience is some teenagers in University, you can use some topic like "What's the Benefit of Mastering English?" or "How to Make Study Easy?". They would gladly hear it cause' they need it, they care about it. (I'm a teenagers in University, and I do care about it). Just adjust the topic with the audience.
So, what do you and me get from this? Everyone is a natural born of Stage Fright, not only you (if you are) and not only me. If everyone else can do it, how about us?! So, lets overcome it together!! (Gosh, it's so embarrassing to write something like this)

I know this is far from perfect but, I Hope This Will Help...^_^
